April Talk with Claire Brewerton

It’s April, the second month of Spring and does this mean April showers or will it be a time of sunshine end to end? We’re catching up with some business owners this month to see how things are looking for them this month. Today we're talking to Claire Brewerton who is the co-founder The Virtual Business Centre based in Brinkworth which provides outsourced services to many business owners including telephone answering, call management, diary management and much more.

How is April looking for you in your business? 
April is looking good, we are still recruiting for additional staff to join the team as the business is growing. It's an optimistic time which mirrors Spring! And I hope we will be finally able to take a holiday at some point too! The business will keep on going though as we support many busy business owners to keep their operations ongoing while they take a break.  

Are you taking part in any wider events or business collaborations this month?
Not this month, we are focusing on our internal strategy and plans as we head into the new financial year. So it's a time for looking inward as we support our existing and new staff members.

This month it’s Stress Awareness Month, what does stress mean to you? 
We are all about stress (in a good way), our business model is designed to reduce the burden of stress for our customers. We are experts at giving our customers the support they need so that they can spend time on the services or products they offer.

We are also very aware of stress and how it might affect our staff and we have an open door policy for anyone who might need extra support.  As we've been established for over 20 years we are proud that some of our staff have been with us from very early on and we value our team. We take their wellbeing very seriously.  

Is your business celebrating a milestone this month? 
It is! It's our business birthday and internally we will be celebrating in the new traditional virtual way with coffee and cakes! 

Have you got any special offers you’d like to mention?
