Arval to Host 'Responsible Business Week' SWIFT Event

Arval will play host to Swindon businesses for the April SWIFT networking event - showcasing various schemes that can demonstrate how companies are taking responsibility in respect to travel.

Responsible Business Week is organised by “Business in the Community and  runs from 31st March – 4th April 2014.

The week aims to inspire and equip businesses to do more to meet the world’s most pressing challenges. In doing so, they will unlock innovation and opportunity and demonstrate the positive impact of business in society.

Arval will talk about their charity bike rides, the employee walking group and free tyre pressure checks.  RWE-npower will also talk about the Future Leaders and Environmental Champions scheme, whilst Swindon Travel Choices will launch an e-learning package.

SWIFT (Swindon Workplace Initiative for Transport) is a free networking group for businesses and organisations in the Swindon area, and gets together twice a year to share good practice on transport related topics.

The event on the morning of Thursday April 3rd is open to all businesses and organisations of any size and nature in Swindon.
