Autumn Talk with Rob Curtis of The Pursuit Agency

It’s Autumn and the leaves are starting to change colour! We’re talking to small businesses about what the last quarter of 2022 will bring for their business.

Today, Rob Curtis, founder of the Pursuit Agency is telling us what’s coming up for him. The Pursuit Agency is a digital marketing agency based in Workshed, Swindon.

What’s coming up for your business/organisation in Q4?
I’m happy to be celebrating my 2nd quarter as the Pursuit Agency. I’m really excited to continue growing and meeting more businesses that I can help!

October represents several awareness months, are there any that are relevant to you or your business?
October is ADHD Awareness month and for nearly three years I’ve been in the process of being referred to get an ADHD diagnosis myself. I’ve spent a lot of time learning how ADHD affects me and how I can use that in my work and how my habits can be of benefit to my business.

Are you doing anything in October for charity or for a community or volunteer project?
On October 3rd, I ran the London Marathon to raise money for Mind. I’m really proud to have taken part in something so magnificent and I thank everyone who has donated and supported me as I trained and on the day. Did you know October 10 was World Mental Health Day – how important is this subject in your business and in your life?
With today’s working from home culture, I sadly feel that people’s mental health will continue to be affected. I always recommend that, if you can, you should try and get into the office or find reasons to get away from your desk throughout the day even if it’s just a small walk around the block!

What practical activities do you participate in at home or at work to protect your mental health?
My daughters keep me plenty active! But I try to stop the habit of staring into my phone all day and night, (when I’m not working!) I love playing football and running too which gives me time away from my screens!

And finally, tell us one thing you love about the autumn/winter months? 
Christmas, Christmas and Christmas, I may be a grinch, but I love spending time with my family!
