Beach Ball Challenge from the Team at John Williams Heating Services
The team at Wiltshire-based John Williams Heating Services are launching a month-long summer competition after handing out 1,000 branded beach balls at a recent community event in Chippenham.
After the team spent hours blowing up the beach balls, they handed them out at a family fun day in the town.
John and Debbie Williams, co-founders of the company, are well known for their support of community events. During the last 12 months alone they have sponsored the local beer and cider festival, a pancake race, a soap box derby, open air cinema screenings and the town’s half marathon.
Debbie said: “We thought it would be a bit different to hand out beach balls given the lovely weather we’ve had and they were quickly snapped up. Now we’re challenging everyone who was given one to share a photograph of themselves with their beach ball wherever they may be over the summer.”
Between July 20 and August 20, they are asking people to share photographs with the beach balls using the hashtag #WhereWillYouTakeYours #JWHS and share them on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram.
The best image will be judged independently and the winner will receive vouchers for a free family day out for two adults and two children at Longleat.
Debbie said: “It’s a bit of fun and we’re genuinely interested to see how far around the UK or the world our beach balls can travel!”.
