Wiltshire company invites business owners to join them in celebrating the festive season on Small Business Saturday

Black Nova Designs has extended an invitation to business owners, friends and supporters to join them at their offices in Calne for two events in early December.

The events are a way of celebrating the company’s success over the last few years and of giving something back to the Wiltshire business community as there will be a charity raffle for MIND on the day - Small Business Saturday. 

From 1pm to 5pm on Saturday December 3, the company is throwing open its doors to old clients, new clients, supporters, followers and local businesspeople for a family-friendly, festive ‘open day’. It will be an opportunity to meet the Black Nova team and socialise with the wider business community while enjoying free snacks and festive music. 

Founder Kyle Homes explained the reasons behind the invitation: “Black Nova is my dream business, providing both myself and my wife and now a full office of staff with stable employment and helping businesses and homeowners make the most out of IT. 

“It’s been an amazing ride so far and we have big plans for the future, but none of this would be possible without our amazing clients and team. That’s why, this Christmas, we want to celebrate with an open day, giving people the chance to meet our team, learn more about what we do and enjoy some festive cheer.”

Later on the same day, the company is hosting its own Christmas Party. Starting at 7pm, the event is free, but guests will need to book a ticket in advance. 

“We’re so excited to share the details of our Christmas celebration which is for business owners who haven’t got a staff Christmas party to go to,” said managing director Danielle Holmes. 

“We want to make sure those hard-working businessmen and women get some festive fun with free food and drinks, plenty of Christmas music and even a Black Nova goody bag.”

Black Nova Designs has grown from a two-person operation to a thriving company in just seven years and both Kyle and Danielle remember what is like managing a small business, with its challenges and implementing ideas alone or between two staff members.

“We’re big advocates of finding a network of people in the same position who you can vent to, share wins with and even ask for recommendations for anything from accountants to website designers,” added Danielle, “which is why we want to bring people together this Christmas, to help them to celebrate the festivities and socialise in a friendly, welcoming business environment.”

The company’s office is located on the Porte Marsh Industrial Estate in Calne, Wiltshire, SN11 9PL and there is parking on site.
