Today we're talking to Denise Little of Mindreset who supports clients who have tried loads of things to get rid of the crippling doubt, unruly thoughts and fear.

April is here – how does this month fit into the ebb & flow of your year? 

It is Stress Awareness month and also – more businesses etc are opening up so I am using this month to help people deal with stress by doing live videos on social media, putting out hints and tips on my website and also promoting a “Destress” programme specifically for this month.

Are you in a business which is either opening up this month – or preparing to open up? 

At the beginning of the first lockdown – I moved out of town as it was easier to carry on seeing clients there – but as lockdown is easing I am moving back into Malmesbury – to The Coach House – fabulous space!!

What are you most looking forward to as the country tries to ‘open up’?

  • Having coffee in the coffee shop and people watching from the window
  • Visiting my sister – she lives in Scotland
  • Having my hair cut so I don’t look like a blonde Hagrid!

It really is the simple things in life..

It’s also Stress Awareness Month, what measures have you taken in your business to reduce the stress on yourself & your team?

I ensure I don’t have big huge to-do lists – that only creates stress – I do what all the high flyers do – write them all down, prioritise and then pick the top three - then chuck the rest away for another time!

What do you do personally to support your health and wellbeing? 

Taking time out to do things for me – it can be as easy as a long bath, watching a movie, walking the dog.

Do you see your product/service as one which supports the health and wellbeing of others such as your clients? 

My business is all about mental well-being. People come to me as they are struggling with their health and well-being. I provide a bespoke service – so every person who comes through my door gets help that is unique to them. Which makes it even more successful as I base it on how their mind works and what will work to change it from being stressed and anxious to being in control and calmer.

As the year goes on, will you take health and wellbeing more seriously going forward?

Definitely – this is the year which will focus on these as it will be more important for businesses and people in general to get this part of their life working for them. Businesses have had enough issues without having to think about people taking time off through stress – so by offering a service which will reduce the everyday stress and anxiety – we can all end the year so much better than we started.

1. Watch a funny movie  

2. Dance to your favourite music (do it in the shower if you have to!
