Pam, who has headed up Swindon-based Eight Interactive for 13 years, has been involved in online content for 20 years and in video for at least 15 of that.
Through Eight Interactive, Pam offers a range of digital content services to businesses, including animated explainer videos and animated logos, as well as film video.
Pam has now strengthened her video offering, to include training. Video services range from teaching people how to video blog (or vlog), to assistance with editing their films, to offering a full video service where Pam and her team handle the entire shoot, editing and production.
“One of the consequences of Covid has been an explosion in use of video, with so many of us working from home and using video to communicate, not just in business but with our families too,” said Pam. “In some ways, this has become the ‘Covideo’ year, and I’d see this as one positive thing to come out of such a terrible event.
“People who were toying with using video are now embracing it and this is why we want to use our expertise to help them in one of three ways: we can teach people how to make films, we can teach them to film and then help with the editing, or we can do the whole thing.”
The new-look website – the fourth website Pam has launched for Eight Interactive - follows on from the company’s refresh last year, with a revamped logo.
November also marks another milestone for Pam – she’s celebrating her 50th birthday. Pam added: “November certainly is a big month for me, with my birthday and my 20 years in digital content. The new website and new services are a great way to mark this.”
Next step for Eight Interactive is to launch a retained client service, working with businesses throughout the year to support them in creating video content.
