LEADING PRINT & MERCHANDISE COMPANY SUPPORTS NEW MARC ALBRIGHTON FOOTBALL ACADEMY
Embello, a leading printing and merchandise company has been busy providing branded football kit to Premier League player Marc Albrighton as he launches his academy for young players at Tamworth Football Club.
The Leicester City player who has enjoyed a prestigious career with Leicester City for seven years and previously with Aston Villa, has already set up his own Centre of Development. His aim is to encourage and support children into the sport of football from a young age across the Midlands.
He’s now launching an academy at Tamworth Football Club and hopes to encourage up to 1,000 local children to embrace and enjoy the beautiful game.
Marc said: “After ‘making it’ as a professional footballer, I always imagined setting up my own soccer school. I myself enjoyed the best football camps in the area as a boy through the Pete Wilson Soccer Academy. This is something that we have taken a lot from and tried to replicate with the main aspect of it being fun for all.
“Alongside our Centre of Development, we have now decided to launch the academy. This is mainly so that kids, if they want it, have somewhere to continue their progression under our professional guidance and have an opportunity to transition onto the footballing ladder.
“We are ambitious people with good values and a common love of football and I am sure this reflects on the work we have already done and hope to be doing for many years to come in the local community.”
Tamworth FC are in the process of growing and improving their work with young people and have been impressed with the excellent work that Marc Albrighton Centre of Development has already achieved. Now the club will offer football provision for all age groups and ability levels from 2 years old to 12+ starting out on their football journeys.
Scott Rickards said: “As one of the largest brands within grass roots football it made sense to collaborate with Marc and provide a pathway for children into our club.
“Marc himself started many years ago playing within the Tamworth junior league and went on to fulfil his dream of becoming a Premier League football player. Now it’s important for him that these young players have the same opportunities. They will now gain access to professional coaching at an outstanding facility whilst representing their home town club.”
Kyle Raffo, who is the founder of Embello, was only too pleased to support his local football club in Tamworth.
“To see my local football club embracing this initiative is inspiring and my team are only too happy to support Marc to get this project off on the right foot (or the left!).
“Marc is sponsored by Nike who sent us the kits and we did all of the bespoke embroidery ready for the first cohort of children. It’s brilliant to see Tamworth FC continuing to support young talent and a Premier League player like Marc taking positive action to promote football. Ultimately for us, it’s about children learning to enjoy football, fitness, personal development and from that ethic, future stars are born.”
Embello plans to have a long term relationship with Tamworth Football Club and will be sponsoring other projects over time.
“More than ever we have to invest and support other businesses and organisations in our own communities,” Kyle said. “This is just one way we can give back to our community and it helps the club and it helps us as a brand.”
Kyle set up Embello when he was 16 years old and today his company works with brands including Team GB, Morrisons, Spotify and Dominos.
The team pride themselves on telling clients’ stories through creative marketing materials. With 24 hour turnaround on thousands of products from printed stationary to embroidered workwear, outdoor signage to branded merchandise - the Embello team are dedicated to being the UK’s no1 printing, promotional merchandise and branded workwear specialist.
