Emma Georgiou of Emma Georgiou Coaching shares how June has been for her!
It’s June already and we’re half way through the year – it’s also officially the first month of summer and the weather is heating up!
Today we’re talking to Emma Georgiou, Executive Coach, Consultant and Trainer who works with individuals and organisations to help them build resilience, improve performance, and create happier, more cohesive teams.
Emma is based in Banbury, Oxfordshire, but frequently travels across the country to support her clients.
JUNE is the first month of Summer – what will you be doing this summer in your business?
During the summer season, I will be balancing work and relaxation while continuing to serve my clients. I'll also be developing new coaching and training programmes, including a group coaching initiative – it will help a lot of people and I’m excited about that! Additionally, I'll be expanding my knowledge through industry events and nurturing relationships with colleagues and potential clients. My goal is to make a positive impact and empower others to reach their goals.
What are your personal plans for Summer activities if you feel happy to share?
I'll be balancing work and family time during the summer. I have a couple of trips planned at the start and end of the summer holidays that I'm really looking forward to. I'll also be enjoying the marvellous weather, when it finally makes an appearance!
June is often associated in nature with growth and abundance. What are your plans for growth in your business/organisation/role this year?
I think that is a lovely theme for June. In terms of growth, I think that my coaching approach is always evolving. As someone who loves anything to do with personal and professional development, I am interested in new techniques or tools that I can incorporate into my coaching to drive behaviour change and help clients to get results. I have started working on my first group coaching and training programme, which will be available in the autumn. I have the theme in mind and am working on the content and approach. There will also be short workshops coming on imposter syndrome and overcoming/avoiding burnout.
As we hit this midpoint of 2024, which one business has really supported or helped you over the last quarter?
Lisa-Marie Mallier from No Fluff Communications has been a fantastic support over the last quarter. Lisa has helped me to stay on track with social media and blogs, something I would not normally prioritise myself, and I am grateful for her support. Lisa also heads up the Oxfordshire Business Buzz networking group and has been pivotal in introducing me to lots of wonderful business owners in the local community. She is fabulous!
June 30 is Social Media Day. What does social media mean to you and your business? What are your favourite social media platforms?
Social media is a powerful tool for building professional connections and sharing knowledge. It's not just about broadcasting, but also about engaging with others and fostering meaningful relationships. As for my favourite social media platforms, I appreciate the versatility of platforms like LinkedIn.
Anything else you’d like to say?
I’d like to invite you to take a moment to read my blog on imposter syndrome and download my tips to avoid burnout. These resources can provide valuable insights and strategies for personal and professional growth. Additionally, I would love for you to connect with me on LinkedIn. Let's continue the conversation!
