LEADING DIGITAL SALES COMPANY EXELA OFFERS VALENTINE’S DAY SUPPORT FOR SMALL BUSINESSES IN AID OF CHELTENHAM OPEN DOOR
EXELA, one of Cheltenham’s leading digital sales companies, is raising money for homeless charity Cheltenham Open Door on Valentine’s Day by running a ‘funnel hack’ event.
The team, based at Cheltenham Film Studios in Hatherley Lane, are offering to create marketing funnels for six companies in exchange for donations. Business owners are being offered the opportunity to apply now and six will be chosen for work to begin on Valentine’s Day.
The offer is open to any small business owner who makes a donation to Cheltenham Open Door via its Just Giving page – the business does not have to be based in Gloucestershire.
David Holland, CEO, said: “At EXELA, we help our customers build marketing funnels for their businesses, so they can get more customers and generate more revenue. For the Valentine’s Day event, we’ll help six business owners get a marketing funnel live in their business and raise as much money as we can for Cheltenham Open Door in the process.
“If you run a business and you’d like to do some good and get a marketing funnel built into your business, please considering donating now.”
On the day, the chosen business owners will be interviewed live by EXELA’s team of experts. Following the interview, the EXELA team will come up with ideas and then build a marketing funnel for the chosen companies. The team at EXELA will provide all the technology and expertise necessary to produce the funnel, all in exchange for a donation.
What is a marketing funnel?
A funnel is the marketing journey taken by a company’s ‘prospect’, on the way to becoming a customer. It might involve a webpage, some emails or a letter – whatever it takes to turn prospects into customers. Marketing funnels are essential for thriving modern businesses.
It is simple to take part:
Companies who wish to take advantage of the offer while helping a good cause, need to make a donation via the Cheltenham Open Door Just Giving page and fill out the form at https://glosmarketinghub.co.uk before February 12th, 2023. EXELA’s team will review the submitted applications and contact suitable applicants within 24 hours so that they can take part in the live interview on Valentine’s Day.
The event will be live streamed via Facebook and all companies who donate will receive a recording of what will be a lesson in ‘how to do digital marketing for small businesses’.
The offer is part of EXELA’s ongoing fundraising efforts for the charity. The company has pledged to raise £3,000 for Cheltenham Open Door by the end of 2023. The charity provides a food bank, and essential supplies to its guests from its premises in Grosvenor Street.
David said: “It’s easy to think in a town like Cheltenham that it’s affluent and there is very little need – however that’s never been the case. There are always those in need and that need is now greater than ever.
“I personally support this charity because it only takes a little bad luck or a negative life event for someone to find themselves on the streets or sleeping on someone’s sofa.”
