FCA Chairman meets with Swindon business leaders

Charles Randell CBE, Chairman of the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), the UK’s financial markets regulator, met with business and civic leaders in Swindon on Tuesday.

The purpose of the visit was to deepen understanding of the experience of financial services among a diversity of citizens and consumers in Swindon & Wiltshire.

As a UK-wide regulator, the FCA’s programme of visits gives senior staff insight into the customer and business experience and enables us to pick up any trends or drivers that may be causing challenges (or opportunities) including local issues.

While in Swindon, Charles had meetings with Business West, Nationwide, local councillors and a charity.
