Former Swindon bus depot for sale at nearly £2 million

A former bus depot in Swindon, previously used by Stagecoach, is now on the market for £1.95 million.

Located on Eastcott Road, the site has been unused since Stagecoach relocated in 2016 to a new facility at Cheney Manor Industrial Estate.

The property, covering 1.54 acres, received planning permission in 2018 to be transformed into 45 residential units with associated parking. The land is situated next to King William CE Primary School and neighboring residential properties.

The original proposal to redevelop the site into 61 retirement apartments was rejected due to concerns about its impact on the conservation area. The site is now available, with viewing scheduled for October 10, and unconditional offers are being accepted until October 30.
