GEL Studios’ New State-of-the-Art Offices Are Now Open
In February, award-winning creative agency GEL Studios announced exciting plans to move to a new studio based in South Marston.
Following an extensive renovation of a former farmhouse, the team at GEL Studios have now moved in and have started welcoming clients, enquiries and members of the community into the state-of-the-art studio.
GEL Studios launched a number of new services over the past two years which has meant the team has grown exponentially. As a result, and due to an increase in the number of clients, a bigger and better studio was the next logical step ahead of their ten year anniversary in June. The new studio which is located just a few doors down from their former offices is in a converted farmhouse.
Having recently become B Corp Certified, GEL Studios was keen to make their new offices as sustainable as possible, using local tradespeople, environmentally friendly materials and installing efficient energy systems. As a B Corp, GEL Studios is now part of a global community of businesses that meet high social and environmental impact standards.
GEL Studios worked with local workplace interior designer, Debbie Watts, from Ashlar-ID and local tradespeople to renovate the building within five weeks. The transformation of the farmhouse was possible thanks to the hard work of Askwith Electrical, A Walklett Plastering, Anything Alan, CB Carpentry, SR Decorators, Red Squirrel Plumbing and TIP IT Swindon.
At a time when remote working has been adopted by many employers, the goal with GEL Studios’ new workspace is to bring people together, encourage face-to-face collaboration and conversations. The culture at the agency is focused around teamwork, collaborating with clients and peers and creating positive change. This investment into the team and its premises is set to make a massive difference to the business and its clients.
