Graphic designer makes prestigious entrepreneur list

Entrepreneur Danny Matthews has made a prestigious list of the South West’s most promising business people.

Every year, Business Insider magazine publishes its 42 Under 42, featuring 42 individuals (all under 42 years old) who represent the future for business in the region.

This year’s list includes Danny Matthews, 32, who runs graphic design and branding studio Danny&co. from offices in South Cerney, near Cirencester.

Danny set up Danny&co. to fulfil a lifelong dream of working in design, after an earlier successful career in financial services. The business has gone from strength to strength.

One Danny&co. product called Content Amplifier particularly impressed the 42 Under 42 panel. Content Amplifier clients submit a weekly video which Danny and his team repurpose for 15 platforms in five media types (video, audio, graphic, visual and written). The first wave of the product sold out within 48 hours.

“I was so surprised and proud to discover I had made it to this year’s 42 Under 42 cohort, as graphic designers don’t usually get this kind of recognition,” said Danny. “It will be a great way to meet business owners with similar goals to me, and to learn from each of our different journeys and share experiences. I am really looking forward to opportunities to collaborate and also to get to know other business people across the region.”
