Visually Explained, founded nearly six years ago and based in Royal Wootton Bassett, has unveiled a new strapline ‘Unleashing the Power of Social Business’, as well as a new website, and is also moving into Google advertising.
The company’s strapline reflects its mission to transform businesses’ attitude to social media, by helping them develop a social media strategy which makes social media an effective tool for sustainability and growth.
Visually Explained’s founder and Managing Director, Yola O’Hara, explained the thinking behind the investment in the new image and website.
“This new look and vision for our business is a result of our six years of experience, plus my many years in the corporate world before that. We’ve developed our service to offer a social business model which combines organic social media mixed with Google advertising, giving the optimum outcome for our clients.
“Social media is an unregulated market and it can be very difficult to navigate and to get really good results, without adopting a strategy that brings measurable results. This is what VE brings to the table, and is why we call what we do ‘social business’ and not social media.”
VE already offered a wide range of services to clients, including consultancy and full outsourcing for social media, as well as social media audits, creating content libraries, and also training in how to use the four main social media platforms: LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
Now VE is adding Google advertising, or Pay Per Click, as an additional service, to complement the organic social media activity.
“Although we specialise in providing organic social media, we understand the value and power of paid advertising, which is why we still recommend Google ads,” Yola said. “If you have a service, product or offer you wish to promote further via search engines, Google ads can help generate interest without the need to fight off the competition organically. Most buying decisions are still made through website searches, which is why in our opinion, using organic social media in conjunction with Google ads is the ideal combination.”
The new-look website has been developed with the help of Bryan James, creative director of Oxford-based Kite Marketing, and Wordpress expert Martin Jarvis, of DMJ Computer Services in Swindon.
Yola added: “At VE we are thrilled with the new look, which really reflects how our business is now and how far we have come since we started out.”
