Janet Shreeve, of Shreeve Care Services, is sharing her exciting plans for June!
It’s June already and we’re half way through the year – it’s also officially the first month of Summer, even if the weather has been a bit mixed!
Today we’re talking to Janet Shreeve who is director of Shreeve Care Services. They provide business development to care providers, advice to clients looking for care options and they also provide a bidding service to get on to frameworks.
JUNE is the first month of summer. What will you be doing this summer in your business?
I’ve been this month developing a new side to Shreeve Care Services for the summer. We’ll be offering retreats and holidays for those with disabilities in Puglia, Italy.
What are your personal plans for summer activities if you feel happy to share?
I’m hoping that I’ll be able to finalise my visa in time and spend some time in Italy with my family this summer.
Does June hold any particular significance for you or your business?
Whilst June isn’t specifically an anniversary for my business, it is a month of decisions for the future including for the previously mentioned holidays and retreats!
June is often associated in nature with growth and abundance. What are your plans for growth in your business this year?
My business is growing in ways that we had not anticipated, in particular around growth, with regards to new parts of the business and planning for 2025 with our holidays.
As we hit this midpoint of 2024, which one business has really supported or helped you over the last quarter?
My client, Ewelina Wiesner of Silverstars has been the highlight of the last quarter as she is a lovely lady, has extremely high standards and I am proud to be working with her.
Have you got any events planned for the coming months which you’d like to mention?
We have a healing retreat planned for September 2024 called Empowering Escapes that I am working on with Vanessa White of Vanessa White Coaching, Cathy Hargreaves of Transformation with Cathy, Olwen Shaw of Olwen Shaw Style and my colleague Jodie Fraser.
June 30 is Social Media Day. What does social media mean to you and your business? What are your favourite social media platforms?
Social media for me is a necessity for my business and at times I find that it can be both overdone and overwhelming but I do recognise that having a presence on social media is important for business in particular but I probably don’t have a favourite platform to use.
We now have a general election coming up in July? What would you like to see from that ‘event’ to support you personally or your business or both?
I think I have given my thoughts on this several times, in particular increased support and change for the social care sector which is sadly falling apart.
Have you got any summer services or special offers you’d like to mention?
We will have the opening for booking our retreat soon which we’re very excited about.
Anything else you’d like to say?
If anyone knows of anyone who would like to be on our retreat, please do get in touch.
