It's 2022! Another year has begun and we're still facing challenges in business. What are your tips for success this year? Today we're talking to Jamie Martin who is the founder of Correct Careers Coaching offering modern sales training and sales strategy.
What are your top marketing or PR tips for 2022?
1. Invest in LinkedIn training to use this channel effectively for building business relationships.
2. Create a series of social media posts that are linked and run this series consistently over a few weeks/months on your social media channels, i.e., the behind the scenes/processes of your business services/products.
3. Identify 2022 trends/topics of interests/gaps in the market for your industry and blog/write an article about these on LinkedIn (at least once a quarter).
What are your top financial tips?
1. Invest 10%-15% of your revenue in advertising and marketing
2. Use automation where possible – it will make your business more efficient and enable you to make more profit
3. Celebrate your financial successes and treat yourself every now and again.

What will you be doing differently in 2022?
My business model is adapting to meet the needs of the market, I will be focusing on developing my core knowledge areas, such as LinkedIn training, digital selling, and new business conversion training to provide expert advice to businesses looking to maximise opportunities with these areas.
What are you doing for charity or community this year?
Each year I aim to raise money for cancer charities either via a sports challenge or fundraiser.
There are multiple ‘awareness’ days & weeks & months in January 2022 – are you engaging with any?
January 2 was World Introvert Day – I would encourage introverts try different methods of communicating with others (business to business) to develop more customer relationships.
