July Talk with Jamie Martin

July is speeding by and hotting up! We've had Wimbledon, the Tour de France and the British Open in golf, as well as a leadership contest in government and a heatwave rising. How is July shaping up for business owners? Today we're talking to Jamie Martin who is the managing director and founder of
Correct Careers Coaching providing modern sales training (such as full sales cycle) including social media marketing/prospecting, lead generation, new business conversion, client relationship management, negotiation, as well as our own pioneering programme in sales psychology.

What are your plans for your business this month? 
In July is my 3rd year business anniversary, so it will be updating annual documents and renewals!

What are your personal plans for this month? 
I'm having a holiday with friends to Wales – and we're going to visit some lovely beaches. 

Do you like sport – and if so do any sporting tournaments or events stand out for you this month? 
I am not in a team or doing any sporting events this month, but in my personal life I do a lot of running, swimming, and cycling. I do a lot of sport, most individual and endurance sports. 

July 17 was World Emoji Day and this often trends on social media. What do you think of emojis? 
I do use emojis and in my opinion, a visual graphic to express an emoji should be used in social media marketing.

Yes, John Lewis and I are doing a collaborative workshop at the end of July at FigFlex offices.
