Jurys Inn Changes Hands
Amaris Hospitality, which owns the Jurys Inn hotel chain, including the hotel on Fleming Way, has announced that they are to sell the business to Paradox AB by the end of 2017.
Pandox is being partnered in the acquisition of Jurys Inn by the Fattal Hotel Group, a leading Middle East and European hotel owner and operator.
Both Pandox and Fattal are existing business partners, with Fattal currently operating 18 Pandox-owned hotel properties in Germany, of which 16 are under the Leonardo brand.
Under the terms of the transaction, Pandox will retain ownership of 20 hotel investment properties within the portfolio, along with the property and operations of the Hilton Garden Inn London Heathrow hotel. Leonardo Europe, a wholly owned subsidiary of Fattal, will operate the 20 Pandox owned hotels on long term revenue share leases and will acquire and operate the remaining 15 leasehold Jurys Inn properties.
In summary, Leonardo will acquire the operating platform for all 36 hotels and the Jurys Inn brand, and operate the management contract for Jurys Inn Prague. The hotels will all remain branded Jurys Inn.
Under its new ownership, the Jurys Inn business will continue to be led by the existing Jurys Inn leadership team and there will be no change to any existing contracts at this time.
