Let’s Celebrate Local!

By Ramiraze James, who has just finished university and set up South West Property Designs as he believes there are many amazing renovations that happen across Bristol and surrounding areas. However, there was not a Instagram to promote them, so I created South West Property Designs.

How are you feeling about your business?  

I started the business at the start of July and so far I am happy with the progress that I have made. Everyone has had nothing but positive comments to say about South West Property Designs. Many property developers from across Bristol feel that it is a great idea so that there is a platform for all renovations around Bristol to be on.

How are you feeling about business in general? 

At the moment I feel that the business is going in the right direction considering I have not paid for any promotions. My followers and the amount of people who are interacting with my account are slowly increasing each day. 

Tell us how you now apply this phrase to your business and/or life ‘buy local supply local’. 

By displaying renovations on South West Property Designs Instagram it allows others who live in and around Bristol who need renovation work done a platform to find high quality property developers.

What has changed for you positively as a result of lockdown? 

Since the start of lockdown I have started an eBay business which is going very well at the moment and also created South West Property Designs. Also I have two other business idea that I am planning. Personally, for me lockdown has treated me well because it has given me time to start new things that I genuinely have an interest in.

What makes a good local business?

A good local business helps the people in that particular area. This is the main reason why I started my own business.

What are your business plans for Q4? 

My plans for Q4 for my business is to be regularly paying for paid promotions so that they can start to reach a wider audience. This way my followers will start to grow and hopefully in the near future I can then start to charge people a small price to promote their renovations.
