Tell us a little bit about yourself…

I'm Max, the newest addition to the team here at GEL Studios. I’m a big football fan, but not Swindon Town. I'm a bit of a history nerd with an unhealthy obsession with language learning and Duolingo. I can speak Spanish to a conversational level and hope to learn Catalan and Portuguese in the future.

Describe Swindon in 3 words…

Fantastic, friendly and welcoming.

I’m a Newbury lad born and bred and can’t say I’ve ever spent that much time in Swindon apart from the outlet centre of course.

Tell us a little bit about your role at GEL Studios?

My role at GEL Studios is as Marketing Assistant which means my days are filled with planning and organising social media, writing content for blogs and generally making myself available to help wherever it's needed. I'm excited about this role; it's new territory for me but working closely with Lewis (Marketing Manager) is proving to be useful and so far I'm learning a lot.

What inspired you to fulfil a career at GEL Studios?

GEL has a great reputation and clear commitment to providing the best possible service for its clients. The business is growing and seems like a really exciting time to be joining the team. As soon as I saw the job advertised I sent over my CV.

What do you think makes GEL Studios different to any other website design company in Swindon?

I think GEL Studios is unique for several reasons. One being the range of services they provide, from graphics, website design and digital marketing. It’s great to be working for a company that provides so many services seamlessly. Another reason is how easy going and friendly everyone is, it makes for a positive working environment.

What will you bring to the team as a new employee at GEL Studios?

As a CIM certified digital marketer, I understand how marketing can impact business and I'm ready to let that knowledge work for me by bringing fresh ideas and new opportunities to GEL Studios. Marketing is such an important part of how businesses operate in the current climate. I've already got some ideas bouncing around in my head which I hope will be beneficial so watch this space!
