What inspired you to set up your business in Swindon?
I wanted to be able to help women gain confidence and look their best. Back in 2014 there wasn’t a huge offering of permanent make up treatments so bringing this amazing treatment to the area was a great opportunity. Today, permanent make up is the only treatment I offer.

What advice would you give anyone looking to do the same?
I would say invest in it! Many of us spend more than half our week at work, your job should be something that genuinely makes you happy! I get out of bed everyday excited to see what my working day brings, I really do get a lot of joy working with women, restoring their confidence, and making them feel amazing.
What do you think attracts businesspeople to Swindon?
Swindon is a fast growing town and it’s economy is rising, it is a fairly central location with easy access which brings people from all surrounding areas.
How do you like to spend your time off?
Between clients and training, my time off is very limited. I enjoy spending time around my family and friends who are very important to me.

What has been your biggest achievement to date?
Launching the training side of the business. In a fairly unregulated industry, I noticed a lot of companies teaching the bare minimum resulting in newly trained artists without confidence to start own their own so I wondered how I could add to the industry. In 2018 I decided to do a teaching qualification to allow me to put all my knowledge into what is a wholesome course and a service that provides great aftercare for students during the first year of their new career.
What are your plans for the future?
I plan to focus more of my time in the training side of the business and add some more courses to the academy portfolio.
Your 2pm meeting has been cancelled, meaning you now have a two-hour lunch break. What do you do?
There’s always something to be done! So I use any free time to be proactive and get my to do list ticked off.
