November Talk with Jamie Martin of Correct Careers Coaching

IT’S NOVEMBER! – the year is coming to an end and Q4 is well under way. We’re talking to small business owners about their plans for the last two months of the year.

Today we’re talking to Jamie Martin who is managing director and founder of Correct Careers Coaching which delivers modern sales training (full sales cycle) including social media marketing/prospecting, lead generation, new business conversion, client relationship management, negotiation, as well as our own pioneering programme - sales psychology.

As well as helping streamline business sales strategy - enhancing a strategic approach to selling, resources, developing employees' sales skills, ICT/materials utilised during the sales process, etc.

What’s your business highlight for November 2022 (or even from October 2022)?
My highlight in October was having a beneficial meeting with a business I had been prospecting for about a year

And what about a personal highlight this last month?
It was my 35th birthday

November represents Movember – Men’s Health Awareness Month. What, if anything does this mean to you?
This is a very important time for men who unfortunately suffer from mental health. I hope the support and help is sought and provided to those who need it.

Are you doing anything in November for charity or for a community or volunteer project?
I recently raised money for cancer research UK charity.

Has the recent turmoil in the economy, government or the cost of living crisis affected your business? Or your personal life in any way that you are happy to share?
Fortunately, it hasn’t impacted my business too much. However, keeping an eye on my outgoings is always important to review often.

What’s your top tip for being positive in the midst of a lot of negativity?
Staying authentic, consistent, and visible in your approach to business.

Did you know November 13 is World Kindness Day – has anyone shown kindness to you in the last month or so? At home and/or work? 
It was my birthday last month, I received a lot of kindness and generosity, which I am very grateful for.

Have you got any events planned for November or December you’d like to shout about – either that you are running or attending?
I am attending two business events in America this month.
