November Talk with Samantha Jayne

IT’S NOVEMBER! – the year is coming to an end and Q4 is well under way. We're talking to small businesses about their plans for the final two months of 2022 and today we're talking to Samantha Jayne.

Samantha Jayne is a spiritual business coach who supports business owners to remove the blocks standing in the way of them achieving their goals.

What’s your business highlight for November 2022 (or even from October 2021)?
My highlight is receiving an award for Most Dedicated Spiritual Coach in the UK from Corporate Vision in their Global Business Awards. This meant a lot to me because I feel it is recognition for the love and dedication I have to my work and to my clients.

And what about a personal highlight this last month?
It perhaps isn't mine but I am super proud of my 17 year old daughter getting her first part time job. She is using the money to pay for driving lessons.  

November represents Movember – Men’s Health Awareness Month. What, if anything does this mean to you?
For me, Movember is all about men's mental health, and as someone who works with a lot of clients with anxiety, I know that this affects men as well as women. I make a point of raising awareness during this month that I work with male clients and that struggling with mental health is not something to be hidden, it is something that can be helped. 

If the previous question is not relevant – are you doing anything in November for charity or for a community or volunteer project?
At the moment I am looking for a suitable venue to host a charity Reiki Bath event in November/December to raise money for Threshold, the homeless charity here in Swindon. If you have a large venue please shout! 

Has the recent turmoil in the economy, government or the cost of living crisis affected your business? Or your personal life in any way that you are happy to share?
There has been a slight slowdown in some therapies, and treatments being booked but I would say no when it comes to my client work, if anything because I work with business owners who are more in need of my help right now.
