Rachel Weaven of face2faceHR has a brilliant March happening!

It’s March! The first month of Spring and the month the clocks go forward this month so it will be lighter nights and less time asleep! It was also the Budget this month! What does the world of business look like this week?

Up today is Rachel Weaven, HR Consultant of face2faceHR. Rachel offers tailored, flexible HR solutions to small – medium sized businesses in and around the Swindon and Marlborough area.

How is March looking for you in your business?
March is picking up. I am getting lots of enquiries around training of staff which is great as it’s something I am extremely passionate about.

Are you taking part in any wider events or business collaborations this month?
I have been working with a company called Thrive and I am pleased to say I am a CPD Accredited Instructor in Neurodiversity which means that I can go into workplaces and offer them different solutions, whether that is awareness training, champion or Manager training.

I also have a super exciting new product called FACE forward which is an in-depth HR audit service, thoroughly crafted for small and medium sized businesses seeking to align their HR practices with their overarching business goals.

This month it’s International Women’s Day, St David’s Day, National No Smoking Day. Is there an awareness day or week this month which is important to you or your business?
I was very fortunate to have an opportunity to speak at an event ran by Samantha Jayne for International Women’s Day. I spoke about how my burnout was a blessing and what amazed me most was one how supported I felt in that room but also how many women felt undervalued or overlooked and to have them come up to me afterwards and say they have gone through similar things is heartbreaking.

Would you like to share your thoughts about your mother, a mother figure in your life or your life with a mother or as a mother?
Being an only child, my parents are a massive part of my life and I love them both but as this is focusing on Mothers, I have to shout out my Mum for being awesome! She has helped me with our girls whilst we were both in employment and she has been a huge support in my journey of being self-employed.
