Rachel Weaven's 2021 Business Growth & Plans
Today we're talking to Rachel Weaven, HR Consultant of face2faceHR offering tailored HR solutions to small to medium businesses in and around the Swindon and Marlborough.
April is here – how does this month fit into the ebb & flow of your year?
I am looking to increase my retained clients and one of the ways I am planning to do this is by asking if businesses would like a FREE review of their HR contracts and policies.
What are you most looking forward to as the country tries to ‘open up’?
Meeting people both personally and professionally. I have only experienced networking virtually so will be great to meet all the lovely people I have met in person.
From a personal point of view I am looking forward to meeting up with my family and my friends for walks and tea (I’d say coffee but I don’t drink it)
It’s also Stress Awareness Month, what measures have you taken in your business to reduce the stress on yourself & your team?
One of the big things I struggle with is to make time for me. I am married with two daughters, two westies and five chickens so for me ensuring my time management is in place to take time for me and also to turn off from the business to a certain extent.
What do you do personally to support your health and wellbeing?
Spending time with my family and friends is a massive boost for me so this last lockdown especially has been harder so looking forward to brighter days.
I am also an avid Friends fan so sometimes just sitting down with a cuppa and putting Friends on the tv is a great pick me up.
Do you see your product/service as one which supports the health and wellbeing of others such as your clients?
I am a mental health first aider as well as an HR professional. Mental health in itself is something I am extremely passionate about so it is certainly something I could work with a business on to ensure the health and wellbeing of their staff is taken care of, especially with us coming out of lockdown and potentially employees returning to the offices.
As the year goes on, will you take health and wellbeing more seriously going forward?
Definitely yes, in this last year I have been through some big changes in my life and I think it should be a priority for everyone.
Have you got any Spring services or special offers you’d like to mention?
Please do consider my FREE HR check up for businesses who don’t currently have in house HR.
And finally:
In your business, people are your most significant investment so why risk getting it wrong?!
