Recruitment Expo to Showcase Opportunities in Direct Selling & Network Marketing
We Need Choices is a business opportunity event at Marlborough Town Hall on Thursday 20th September from 7.00 - 10.00pm.
The evening is aimed at anyone considering starting a business or looking for an additional income. The event will supported by entrepreneurs from the Wiltshire area and beyond who have successfully built their own businesses, with the opportunity to meet experienced people from Forever Living, The Utility Warehouse Discount Club, Phoenix Trading, Ardyss International and Jamie at Home, to name a few.
The event will be supported by DS£ Accounting, who specialise in assisting self-employed clients in the direct selling industry with accounts and tax returns and they also do teaching and training.
Direct selling is the UK's largest provider of part-time, independent earning opportunites and contributes more than £2 billion annually to the UK economy. Around 400,000 people are employed in direct sales in the UK. On average men now make up nearly one quarter (24%) of the direct sales forces. The DSA (Direct Selling Association) recorded a 29% increase in the over 50 year old direct sellers between July 2010 and July 2011 and the DSA estimate that over 1,500 recent graduates have registered to become direct sellers. Pia Warne and Christina Goble from Marlborough, themselves direct sales business owners, felt the need to raise the awareness of the industry at a local level and hit upon the idea of organising a public event, commented:
"Anyone over the age of 18 is eligible to become a business partner at one of the opportunities being showcased on the evening. These are not get-rich-quick schemes, but opportunities to build an income alongside a chosen career path, which over time, could create a secure financial future. In addition, the associated benefits are many: unlimited support; personal development, not just the skills to do the job; and low start up costs with fabulous earning potential."
Entrance is free.
