Sally Jeffcock, of Mardy Moo, shares what she's looking forward to this March!

It’s March! The first month of Spring and the month the clocks go forward so it's lighter nights and less time asleep! It’s also the Budget this month! What does the world of business look like this week?

Up today is Sally Jeffcock of Mardy Moo who offers a tranquil space for all seeking wellbeing through meditation, sound therapy, and group sessions. They have a special focus on menopause education and support. Their venue provides a nurturing environment for anyone on their wellness journey.

How is March looking for you in your business?
March is an exciting month for us as March 20th is the launch of part of my menopause programme ‘Moo-ed swings and magic things’. The bus is open from 10am - 12 for ladies to drop in for a mid-week, mid-life chat. It’s a safe space for women to support each other on their menopause journey over coffee. 

Are you taking part in any wider events or business collaborations this month?
I have been invited to talk at the ‘Actually I Can' show at the Arts centre by Revolution Performing Arts on Sunday 10th March. 

I’m also travelling to London at the end of the month for two days to facilitate a course in meditation. 

This month it’s International Women’s Day, St David’s Day, National No Smoking Day. Is there an awareness day or week this month which is important to you or your business?
International women’s day is important to my business due to the very nature of what I do. I have donated sessions to lots of charities based around this so I can open the doors to people who may not be in a position to afford the experiences I offer. 

March is also Mother’s Day (March 10) is this an important day for your business?
I’ll be taking part in the Revolution Performing Arts show on Mother’s Day. It’s also a very important day because my business acknowledges the importance of wellbeing. We offer vouchers as I lovely alternative gift. 

Would you like to share your thoughts about your mother, a mother figure in your life or your life with a mother or as a mother? 
My mother was the inspiration for me starting my business after seeing the struggles of her and my grandmother during menopause. 

In the yearly cycle of your business, what do you expect during March?
March is a busy month for me! The weather is getting better so I’m planning a lot more outdoor experiences for my lovely clients, including mini retreats. 

Anything else you’d like to say?
I'm thrilled to share that my lifelong passion is finally a reality: owning a double decker bus, a childhood dream fulfilled. It now serves as the centrepiece of my serene farm enclosure, where people can find solace, enjoy unique experiences, and receive support and knowledge.
