Let's Talk
Samantha Jayne of Samantha Jayne Ltd is sharing her exciting September plans!
September is almost here – what will this month bring for business owners?
Today we're talking to Samantha Jayne, who is known as the Spiritual Business Coach who is based in Wiltshire yet works with clients globally and runs regular training courses and offers one-to-one support. She coaches spiritual minded business owners to shift their mindset and become aligned to success.
How was your summer as we go into autumn?
Summer has flown by! We always spend a lot of time in planning here at HQ ready for September and the countdown to the end of the year. I absolutely loved hosting my Lionsgate Activation Day where spiritually minded business owners spent a day together aligning their business mindset and activities to their purpose. Letting go of all those negative niggles that were blocking them.
What’s coming up for your business in September?
September began with a glamping retreat which we really enjoyed. A weekend of meditating under the stars and connecting with nature and our inner goddess energy once more. I also held my quarterly Mindset Mastermind where I help a group of business owners shift their mindset around money and success so that they can take action within their businesses to get them to where they wish to be by the end of the year.
It’s ‘back to school’ month or ‘start of university’ month – is this relevant to you personally or professionally?
It is start of university month for us. My youngest daughter is heading off to Swansea to begin her uni life journey studying English Literature and Teaching Abroad. This is such a change of lifestyle for her, and she is looking forward to reading those novels on the beach when the sun is out. My eldest daughter is also heading back to university, at RAU, where she is doing her master’s degree. I am incredibly proud of both of my daughters. They have been my motivation to achieve in life since the day they were born, so to see them have the confidence to go after their dream careers is a beautiful thing to see.
September is also known as ‘organic’ month. When it comes to your business/organisation/personal life what do you do to be ‘more green’?
Even though we don't purchase a lot of items here, we always try to buy 'green' products as much as we can here. We are very much aware of how a high level of the items donated to charity shops actually end up in landfill, so we have decided at home to sell unwanted items on Vinted which is a great app for this, so easy to use. We also do a lot of recycling!
World Gratitude Day takes place this month (Sept 21). What are you grateful for in your business/organisation/at home?
I am very grateful for my PA and other business associates who work alongside me or support me in their own way within the business. I am also grateful for the friends who were beside me earlier this year when my Dad passed. They say you know who your true friends are during times like these, and I have to say I agree.
I am also grateful for each and every client who come to me and give me the opportunity to 'do my thing' and help them get unstuck in their lives. I take none of this for granted. I am also grateful to everyone who recommends me and refers clients to me.
What are your hopes for business for the rest of this year?
I have now opened Quantum Shift Queens which is an online coaching programme for therapists, healers and other spiritually minded business owners, so am looking forward to helping them take their businesses from an idea to a success story.
I also have my annual retreat running in November which I love hosting. As a business we have events running every month here in Uffcott and details can always be found through my website.
We are dealing with a lot of messages around ‘bad’ news such as the rising cost of living and interest rates rising. How are you keeping positive?
I am constantly auditing the finances of the business and looking at ways to spend revenue better and more productively within the business. Mindset is everything when it comes to money, so I encourage anyone struggling to not focus too much on the challenges that they are facing but instead on where they want to get those numbers too. Next, focus on serving others. Money is always a biproduct of helping other people.
Have you got any services or special offers you’d like to mention?
Clients can now enrol into my one to one, 90-day coaching programme to help them shift their mindset, their beliefs, emotion state and energy around any challenges or change that they may be facing. This would be a great option for anyone who needs to move things forward in their business by the end of the year.
And finally, September 30 is International Podcast Day. Do you listen to podcasts, or do you have one of your own? Can you share a tip? Which podcasts should others check out?
I love podcasts. I love being on them and listening to them. I recommend Fiona Scott's podcast for anyone who doesn't quite 'get' PR and I also recommend Lewis Howes podcast; I listen to that one through YouTube.
