Snapped: Excalibur #RecordBreakingBalls
Excalibur Communications launched their latest fundraising campaign for RUH at David Lloyd Swindon on Monday the 9th of June. The "Record Breaking Balls" campaign will see over 600 people set a new record for the largest Swiss Ball class. We popped along hear their exciting announcement:
Excalibur Communications are looking for 600 volunteers to take part in their Swiss ball exercise class world record on Saturday 11th October.
The team at Excalibur are attempting to claim the record for Swindon as part of their fundraising challenge, raising £50,000 for the RUH Bath Teenage Cancer ward.
The David Lloyd Gym in North Swindon will play host to the Excalibur challenge. Anyone from the age of 14 can have a go in a low impact 40 minute class. Taking part will cost £25, however you’ll get to keep your record breaking ball after the attempt.
Each year RUH Bath treats over 2000 new cancer cases from the hospital’s extensive catchment area. The new centre will cover Bath, Swindon, Wiltshire, Bristol and surrounding areas and offer the greatest and most technologically advanced care for cancer patients. It is their mission to provide a nurturing, therapeutic environment that centres on patient care and experience, as well as promoting health and a 'holistic' approach for patients and their kin.
Team Total will be sending our very own Liz Ledger along to show our support.
