Swindon greenlights eco-friendly electric vehicle car park

Swindon Borough Council has approved a new three-story car park exclusively for electric vehicles and delivery vans, designed to support businesses transitioning to greener transport.

Built on the former Groundwell industrial estate, the car park will feature charging stations, solar panels, and even a café for users.

Created by Infinium Logistics, the facility aims to offer easy, sustainable options for local companies while benefiting residents by reducing street parking congestion.

This project aligns with Swindon’s push toward carbon neutrality by creating an efficient and eco-friendly hub for electric vehicle use.
