Swindon solicitor puts families first with new law firm

A family law solicitor with a decade of experience has set up her own business to provide a more personal service to clients.

Natalee Worthington has founded Worthingtons Family Law, based in West Swindon. Her philosophy is to offer a more flexible and personal service than the average High Street law firm, and she specialises only in family law.

“As a Mum to two young boys, I know it can be difficult to juggle family life,” said Natalee, whose business is based at Rombourne, Kingston House, Lydiard Fields. “So my aim with Worthingtons Family Law is to be more available. It will always be me who my clients speak to, and if daytime appointments are difficult to make, I am happy to see people later on.”

Natalee, who grew up in Royal Wootton Bassett, began her career in law as a trainee solicitor at a local Firm in 2009, qualifying in 2011. She quickly decided to specialise in family law and since then has been based with firms in the Swindon, Royal Wootton Bassett and Cirencester area. She has run a legal practice singlehandedly while the owner was on maternity leave, and before setting up her business was working as an advocate for those with additional needs with Swindon Advocacy Movement, which better fitted with her young family.

“It was my experience covering maternity leave that made me realise I wanted to run my own business,” said Natalee. “By specialising in family law, I have a depth of knowledge and a real understanding of what my clients are going through, at what is often a very difficult time for them.”

Natalee’s growing caseload includes clients who are divorcing, including the resolution of their financial settlements; dealing with child arrangements; resolving disputes surrounding property for separating unmarried couples; creating pre-nuptial and cohabitation agreements; dealing with changes of surname for children; and domestic violence.
