September Talk with Neil Moore from Moore Photographics

September is here. It's the month when autumn officially arrives - the autumn equinox is on September 22. What does this month hold for you and your business? What are you looking forward to for the rest of this year? What events are pending for you? What advice would you give to others? What are you grateful for in September?

Today we're talking to Neil Moore of Moore Photographics. Neil lives near Marlborough and has his own bespoke studio for photographing people and products. He also travels around the UK supporting businesses by providing exceptional photographs for their PR, social media, blogs, leaflets, brochures and much more. 

What’s coming up for your business this month? 

Looking to the future I am still looking for premises to expand in to.  Not an easy task as the size I am looking for is very sought after.

What are your personal plans for this month?

I have started to take the odd few days off in between a busy work schedule.  Down time is very important to recharging the batteries. 

September is also known as ‘organic’ month – do you shop, dress, or behave with green ethics in mind? 

I have am fortunate that I have access to produce from my friends with allotments. These are fresh and organic.

World Gratitude Day takes place this month – what are you grateful for at the moment?

I am grateful that those I know who had had Covid19 have been able to fight the illness successfully, but my heart feels for those who were not so fortunate.

Who are you grateful for at the moment? 

I am grateful to all my clients who have been able to support my business through these trying times and would like to thank them for their continued support.

What are your hopes for business in general this year? 

I am very much looking to expand in to new premises by the end of the year.  This will allow me to create photography courses tailored around the studio environment.  If large enough I also look forward to offering the studio for hire. 

Have you got any events planned you’d like to shout about – either that you are running or attending? 

I am looking forward to visiting the Photography Show at the NEC during this month.  It will be great to look at the new products and to catch up with my friends in the industry.
