You’ve been in real estate for 17 years. What advice would you give to someone new in the industry?

After 17 years in real estate, my advice to those just starting out is to focus on building authentic relationships. Get to know your clients, understand their needs, and always maintain clear, honest communication. The property market is ever-changing, so stay adaptable and embrace technology – particularly social media and video marketing – to stand out. Most importantly, approach every day with a willingness to learn and grow.

At Avocado Swindon, I’ve introduced several innovative approaches that set us apart from traditional estate agents:

What’s the favourite part of your job?

My favourite part of the job is helping people find their dream home. There’s nothing quite like seeing the excitement and happiness when a family finds the perfect place to call their own.
