Hi, I am Gareth and I work for Nespresso Professional!
Tell us about Lyreco (Nespresso Professional)
Nespresso Professional is the business and hospitality side to the Nespresso operation, as appose to the domestic range. We work with clients to understand the consumption their premises require and have a coffee machine solution for every eventuality. Be it a one-person operation, who just wants to treat themselves to the best coffee every day, or an office of 1000 staff, we have the coffee machine and range of coffee ready to supply. Wherever you offer coffee to your colleagues or clients, why not offer them the best. It is one way of showing them how much they mean to you.
Tell us all about your role at Lyreco
I am the Business Development Manager for all the SN and GL7 areas, as I live in Cirencester. Being new to the role and area, I am keen to meet and show as many people and companies as possible what we offer.
Has there been a particular highlight for you at Lyreco?
What I love about Nespresso Professional is their commitment to sustainability. Be it from our head office in Telford, where the roof is covered with 3,800 solar panel that run the whole office, warehouse and even charges up some of the electric vehicles for delivery. Nespresso is a B Corp certified company, which recognises their commitment and continued growth to improve the operation all over the world, starting with the farmers and communities who grow the coffee. This kind of commitment makes me proud to be part of a company.
When you’re not busy working, what do you love doing in your time off?
My family is everything and I spend a lot of time travelling with them. We lived in Portugal for 18 years and have been very lucky to travel to many places. Now I love living in the Cotswolds and I’m enjoying what is on the doorstep here, we are truly lucky to be in such a fantastic area.
Tell us about your favourite local restaurant in Swindon
This is embarrassing – the only restaurant I have been to in Swindon is Nandos at the Orbital! So hopefully meeting likeminded networking buddies and making friends in the area, I can be shown, what I am sure, are some very good eateries, or the odd local brewery for a swift half! Living in Cirencester, I have the Corinium Brewery within walking distance, which is very dangerous at 4pm on a Friday afternoon…..
