The Pig Group adds the Barnsley House Hotel and The Boot Pub to their portfolio

The Pig Group, renowned for its kitchen garden and it’s homely and characteristic venues has announced the successful acquisition of the historic Barnsley House hotel and the charming Boot pub in the Cotswolds village of Barnsley.

The 17th-century Barnsley House hotel, nestled in the heart of the village near Cirencester, will be a fantastic addition to The Pig Group's growing portfolio.

The Barnsley House hotel, boasts 18 bedrooms and suites and is currently a wellbeing retreat with a luxury spa allowing The Pig Group to expand its wellness offerings beyond the potting sheds, complemented by the inclusion of ornamental gardens.

The existing team will continue to manage Barnsley House hotel until February 4th, after which the property is set to reopen in the summer. The transformed establishment will be known as The Pig and Village Pub.

With the addition of Barnsley House hotel and The Boot pub, The Pig Group currently oversees eight hotels, with three more projects in various stages of development.
