The team behind Europe’s biggest airshow launch their first business club event
For the first time, small business owners and directors from across the South West are invited to the 2019 show for a day of networking and inspiration.
Helen Webb, Head of Marketing for the Royal International Air Tattoo, said: “For 2019 we want to invite people from the very powerful and influential SME sector to the first Air Tattoo Business Club event being held on Friday July 19.
“Our show is the biggest event of its kind in Europe, on a par with Glastonbury, Ascot or Henley. Thousands of people attend however until now we’ve not reached out to that particular business sector, enabling high quality networking, access to the airshow displays and to the amazing guests who come along to share their stories.”
One of the keynote speakers at the business-focused event will be Jo Salter, the RAF’s first female fast jet pilot who is now a director at Price Waterhouse Cooper. Jo will share her story and her journey through the RAF and her transition into civilian life and current role in corporate business. Other speakers will be announced in due course.
The Air Tattoo Business Club will be held in a private members’ area at the show where companies can network in one of the Air Tattoo’s premier hospitality suites.
Guests will spend the day with like-minded organisations, enjoy business round-table discussions with pilots and aircrew who will drop in throughout the day for photo opportunities.
The event starts at 9.00am with refreshments and structured networking followed by guest speakers from 10am-11am. The flying display is from 11am-3pm with lunch served during this time – those who want to stay in the room can take part in facilitated round-table discussions. Afternoon tea will follow at 3.00pm with guests departing at about 4.30pm.
The cost is £220 (plus VAT) per person. Details are available here www.airtattoo.com/bc or email [email protected]
