Let's Talk
Things to look out for at the Air Tattoo Business Club
We caught up with Helen Webb, Head of Marketing at The Royal International Air Tattoo, with everything the Air Tattoo Business Club has to offer.
What is the RIAT Business Club?
The Air Tattoo Business Club is a networking opportunity at the Air Tattoo on Friday 19 July.
Those that sign up will also be able to use the Air Tattoo Business Club logo and align themselves with the Air Tattoo brand.
What can people expect to see at the business club?
People will arrive from 9.00am and refreshments will be served and then we will have a number of speakers including Jo Salter, the RAF’s first female jet pilot and author of publications about motivation. She is now a Director at PwC and will share your insights.
The flying display starts at 11am and people can watch this or take part in some formal networking, and lunch will be served. The flying display ends at 3pm and afternoon tea will be served before to anticipate people will depart.
Why did you decide to set up the Business club?
I have been chair of the local business club for the past 5 years and involved for 10 years and we organise monthly networking events which are very successful. People always say they want to get involved in the Air Tattoo in a business capacity so although we have options for large aerospace and defence organisations we didn’t have an offer for those outside the aviation industry or smaller organisations. The Air Tattoo Business Club now meets this need.
What benefits do businesses get from being part of the business club?
Business can attend the Air Tattoo or Friday 19 July and the Business Club will hosted be in one our hospitality enclosure with refreshments and lunch. In addition to networking we will have a strong media presence, some aircrew popping in and speakers. Businesses can also use our logo and will be promoted to our audience through our website and social media channels.
What do you think makes the Air Tattoo so special?
Networking doesn’t get much more exciting than this. What other networking event has the backdrop of the worlds greatest airshow and all that offers. Plus we know who to organise great events so anyone that attends will have an amazing day.
