Charities at the New Swindon Half

If you are a charity and want to get some free entries, the New Swindon Half would love to hear from you!

Unlike other large scale races, which charge charities a small fortune for guaranteed entry, the New Swindon Half is proposing giving away several COMPLETELY FREE slots for runners to use to raise money for your charity, and in return, ask that you provide what will be known as an 'Atmosphere Station’. 

These Atmosphere Stations will be positioned round the course, with this idea being that you can bring along some music and general ‘atmosphere creating paraphernalia’. Whether that be big hand clappers, fancy dress, steel drums or just a load of really loud friends – it’s entirely up to you! You can go as wild as your imagination can take you.

This gives charities a remarkable chance to create some exposure for their cause and to be involved in the atmosphere with the thousands of runners themselves, as well as a focus point for spectators to be drawn towards.

The area on the course will be entirely yours and you have the free reign to go as wild as you like with it!

You'll need to be a registered Charity, create loads of noise with a big presence, and be able to provide and power your own music. The New Swindon Half be reviewing all submissions and the main criteria will be if they're a local charity, and how much noise and presence they're planning on bringing!
