NEW COLLEGE SWINDON WELCOMES PROSPECTIVE LEANERS TO ALL AGES ALL COURSES OPEN EVENING
The college will be opening its doors up to prospective students on Thursday 4th July 5 – 7:30pm, to give them a taste of college lifestyle and offer information on the wide range of courses it has to offer.
New College is one of the leading providers of post-16 study in the area, with great results, a wide range of courses and a fantastic learner experience. The college has been rated “Good” by OFSTED for over 20 years and has an 88.4% achievement rate+ for 16-18 year olds, as well as the highest progress/value-added score for A Levels** of any other state school or college in the Swindon area. A wide range of qualifications, opportunities, skills and support, prepares students for university, an Apprenticeship or dream job/career.
Those interested in degree-level study will have the chance to learn more about the college’s local, affordable alternative to university. There’s a fantastic range of degree-level programmes on offer, including HNC/HND Fashion and Textiles, Creative Media Production and a Sports and Coaching Development Foundation Degree. There are also plenty of options for those looking to boost their CV and employability, with professional development courses and qualifications.
Open Evening attendees will have the opportunity to find out more about the evening and weekend leisure courses on offer, from dance and music, to sewing and art. There will also be information available about entry level, GCSE English and Maths, and English courses for speakers of another
language (ESOL), as well as programmes for those who are unemployed, have been made redundant or are returning after a break from work.
