Snapped: Royal Wootton Bassett Christmas Light Switch On 2018

Ski jumping legend Eddie 'the Eagle' Edwards did the honours in Royal Wootton Bassett on the High Street! The Children's Community Choir, the Wessex Male Voice Choir, and the Swindon hip-hop group The Tribe performed live on-stage, with a wide-screen broadcasting their performances down the high street.

The screen was funded after a petition raised more than £2,100 in just two days. The money was raised from individuals and donations from local businesses, including Richard James Estate Agents and Barrett’s Windows.
