Snapped: The Swindon Supermarine’s Sports and Education Trust Launch

Today (May 5th), The Lord Lieutenant of Wiltshire, Mrs Sarah Troughton, led the the launch of The Swindon Supermarine’s Sports and Education Trust and the official opening of their new Community Facility at the Webbs Wood Stadium. See our gallery of the launch below...

It kicked off at 11.00am, with arrival drinks in the Swindome along with tours of the new facility. Shortly after at 11:30am was the official opening of the facility.

The facility will play host a wide range of community activities aimed at tackling social, health and education needs in and around Swindon and Wiltshire. The new building will be available for the community to use at least 150 days a year, in addition to the programmes to be offered by the Swindon Supermarine Sports & Education Trust.
