Try the Bus for Free this January & February

For the second year running Swindon Travel Choices are inviting car commuters to try Thamesdown Transport and Stagecoach bus smartcards for free!

During January and February 2014, employees that currently drive to work, will be able to apply for a free smartcard that will be preloaded with 6 or 7 days free travel. 

For anyone who currently drives to work, lives near a Swindon bus route and would like to try the bus for free, then this offer is for them! 

In February 2013, over 1100 free smartcards were distributed, with one in five people continuing to top their cards up and using them regularly. 

32% who tried the bus as a result of the promotion stated that they now use the bus a lot more than they did previously.

Swindon Travel Choices will be holding bus smartcard ‘sign up’ sessions in libraries as follows:

• Central Library Sat 11^th Jan 2014 from 10am to 1pm
• Central Library Fri 17th Jan 2014 from 5pm to 7pm
• North Swindon Library Sat 25^th Jan from 10am to 1pm
• Central Library Sat 1^st Feb 2014 from 10am to 1pm
• West Swindon Library Sat 8^th Feb from 10am to 1pm
• North Swindon Library Sat 15^th Feb from 10am to 1pm
• West Swindon Library Sat 22nd Feb from 10am to 1pm
