On 1st June, we headed down to The De Vere Cotswold Water Park for a splendid Afternoon Tea experience. The tea lounge was a perfect blend of classic and contemporary design with large windows offering stunning views of the surrounding gardens.
The service at The De Vere Cotswold Water park was great. The staff were attentive and friendly, ensuring that every detail was taken care of. The staff were also knowledgeable about the tea offerings and menu items, providing helpful recommendations and ensuring all dietry requirements were met.
The tea selection featured a variety of traditional and specialty teas. Whether you prefer a classic Earl Grey, a refreshing green tea, or something more unique like a fruity infusion, there is something for everyone. And if you don't drink tea, there is also a large selection of alternative hot drinks such as coffee and hot chocolate.
The afternoon tea menu was a delightful selection of sweet and savory treats. The yummy finger sandwiches included classics like cucumber and cream cheese, smoked, salmon, egg mayonnaise, and ham and mustard, all prepared with fresh ingredients. The scones were a highlight – perfectly baked, soft and fluffy. And of course, accompanied by clotted cream and strawberry jam.
The sweet offerings were equally impressive, with a variety of cakes and pastries that are as beautiful as they are delicious. From delicate macarons to rich chocolate tarts and fruit-laden mini pavlovas. The attention to detail was impeccable, making the entire spread a feast for the eye.
