On the edge of the canalside in Wichelstowe, Hall & Woodhouse is the perfect place to enjoy delicious food and great drinks no matter what the occasion.

Their Lunch Menu as well as their Dinner Menu feature warm and wholesome pie options that will make a great meal out, especially this week!

The Calley Arms

Although you can find a pie on the menu all week at The Calley Arms, Wednesday nights are Pie Nights where you can bag yourself two pies for £16. Not only is The Calley Arms a bargain…but the pies are also to die for. Whether you opt for a traditional steak and kidney or something a little different, it’s sure to hit the spot with its chips and veg on the side.

The Freke Arms

Situated on the outskirts of Swindon (with an incredibly view, might we add) The Freke Arms serve great quality of food, and that includes their pies. Currently on the menu is a Homemade Beef, smoked bacon, ale and stilton pie and Homemade Lamb, redcurrant and mint pie. Both are served with chips and salad/peas. Priced from just £11.95, it’s not a bad price to pay for a tasty home-made pie!

The Brewer's Arms

You know a pie is going to be good when there’s an entire menu for it – and this is the case at The Brewer’s Arms in Wanborough. If you like the classics, then the Fish pie is probably the one for you. Or you could push the boat out with these delicious alternatives from just £10.95…

Robin's Farm

The spacious Robin’s Farm makes ideal family-friendly dining, and their cheap but cheerful pies go down a treat. Choose from Fish pie, Beef and ale pie, Chicken ham and leek pie or peppered mushroom for just £7.99! All pies are served with your choice of seasoned chips or mashed potato, garden peas, carrots and gravy.
