Hickory’s Smokehouse set to open in Swindon creating 100 new jobs

Get ready, Swindon! Hickory’s Smokehouse, famous for its delicious American BBQ, is coming to town.

The Brookhouse Farm in West Swindon is set to transform into a Southern-style eatery, complete with smoky, slow-cooked meats and a cozy diner vibe. 

Hickory’s, known for its “low ‘n’ slow” cooking method, promises to bring all the flavours of America’s Deep South to Wiltshire by mid-2025.

If you’re a fan of BBQ, this is big news. Hickory’s serves up classics like Memphis-style ribs, slow-smoked brisket, and mouth-watering jalapeño sausages. And that’s not all - they’ve got brunch favorites like Cajun fried chicken, pancakes, and even deep-fried doughnuts! 

Don’t forget to save room for their sweet treats, like frozen custard and campfire-toasted marshmallows.

The Brookhouse Farm will be getting a full makeover, turning into a rustic, family-friendly hangout with chef’s bars, verandas, and even a cinema room for kids. 

Hickory’s is also bringing 100 new jobs to the area, so it’s a win-win for Swindon.

Hickory’s has been winning over BBQ lovers across the UK since 2010, and now it’s Swindon’s turn.
