Review: Lunch and Waffles at the Brewers Arms, Wanborough

Team Total wanted to hold a meeting at a venue with a fantastic meeting room as well as somewhere that served delicious food - and the Brewers Arms Waffle and Coffee shop fitted the bill perfectly!

Sitting just outside of the North Wessex Downs, the Brewers Arms at Wanborough is the perfect location. The typical country pub is a beautiful stone building with a lovely, cosy feeling - exactly what we were after!

On arrival at The Brewers Arms in Wanborough, we sat down and ordered smoothies and lunch. Not only was the service fantastic and quick, but what they served was delicious too. The majority of us enjoyed a tasty, nutritional smoothie and warm toasties, which were made to perfection. Served generously with two toasties and fresh salad on the side, it was a lovely light lunch that we all enjoyed immensely. The drinks went down a treat too, which were all freshly made there and then (I personally had one of the best strawberry milkshakes I've ever tasted - and I've had quite a few!)

 After our lunch, we headed into our meeting room which was exactly what we were looking for. It was a great size for our team with cosy surroundings and all the amenities we needed. The added little features such as the garland above the table and the fairy lights in the corner absolutely made the room.

We took advantage of the new waffle and coffee shop by experiencing  them for ourselves. As they say, there's always room for dessert! And wow, it was certainly worth making room for. The team all tried something a little different, from an afternoon tea waffle, to toffee, chocolate and a nutty nana (we can clarify that it was called that because the topping was banana, it doesn't mean what you might be thinking!)

It's safe to say we all absolutely loved our waffles. The waffles were made to perfection. Cooked fresh and warm, topped with chocolate, cream, strawberries, banana and a rich chocolately sauce, it was an absolute dream! (Sorry if that made you hungry!)

 Once we'd finished our delicious waffles, the friendly staff came to our meeting room to offer teas and coffees. We finished our meeting feeling very well fed with absolutely delightful food and drinks!
