Review: Rays Ice Cream's Big Night in Bundle

Rays Ice Cream Home Delivery Service is a "Ray of Sunshine" if you're looking for a little fun, pleasure and a tasty treat.

After two weeks of isolation which has consisted of homeschooling, working from home and being a playmate to my seven year old daughter, we needed some fun and a weekend treat to look forward to at the start of what should be the Easter Holidays. 

We went online to place our order. The selection is endless and we were literally spoilt for choice, the whole family became involved in this difficult but delightful decision. The process was really simple and within a few minutes our items were added to the cart and we had paid. 

A range of ice cream, cheesecakes, brownies, ice cream cakes and party packs delivered straight to your door of varying sizes! We were in seventh heaven. 

Rays offer such a broad selection and cater for vegans and all allergen information is clearly listed. 

After much excitement and debate we opted for the “Big Night in Bundle” which is fantastic value. We choose a selection of 4 x 500ml tubs of home made ice cream; rum and raisin, bubble gum, chocolate chip and strawberry, 4 x Antonelli waffle cones , 2 x chocolate waffle cones, 3 x Cadbury's Flakes, 3 x Cornish fudge sticks, mini marshmallows and mini Smarties. 

The delivery arrived within a few days and the driver was very careful to abide by social distancing rules and waited patiently until we collected the order from our doorstep.

Although we were tempted to tuck in straight away we put the ice cream in the freezer to look forward to for a Friday night treat!

Ava thought this was a great opportunity to set up her own Ice Cream Shop and entertained herself Friday afternoon in getting it ready. 

Friday night arrived and the eagerly awaited shop was open for business! 

The cones were lovely and fresh and the ice cream is simply delicious, really flavoursome with that homemade authentic taste. 

We had great fun choosing our flavours and decorating our colourful creations. Ava was in her element, there were smiles all round and second helpings. 

Ordering the bundle worked really well for us as there is plenty of ice cream left for other occasions and we will be planning another treat night soon. 

We have since placed orders for family and friends to pass on a little “Ray of Sunshine”. 

I would highly recommend Rays Home Delivery service and with a few birthdays on the horizon we may be tempted to order an ice cream cake!
