Having established the Boom Battle Bar brand in Cardiff, Liverpool, Norwich, and Eastbourne, to name just a few locations, Boom Battle Bar has arrived in Swindon’s Regent Circus and is ready to open its doors to the public next month.
The interactive sports entertainment bar is the first of its kind in Swindon, breaking away from the traditional nightlife experience and offering exciting sporting experiences such as axe throwing, electric darts, nine-hole crazy golf, table tennis and more.
Speaking ahead of Boom Battle Bar’s opening in Swindon next month, franchise owner James Wilson gave us the run-down on the latest addition to the Town’s nightlife and hospitality scene:
“Boom Battle Bar is a competitive sport socialising bar,” said James.
“We’ve got a site in Cardiff and we felt Swindon was crying out for something new like this.
“We signed off on the project a couple of months back and we offer a range of activities including axe throwing, electric darts, table tennis, crazy golf, and we see this as an alternative night out.
“We are looking to open on October 16th and bookings will go live in the next couple of weeks, and you will be able to book on our website.
“It’s best if you book games beforehand but you can turn up on the day and if there is space then we will fit you in,” he added.
“There are two areas to Boom Battle Bars, we’ve got the competitive games area and also have the Boom Beer Hall as well.
“We will be looking at doing themed lunches, lots of evening events, street food socials, entertainment events such as fire-throwers, live music, comedians, and lots more in the pipeline.
“It seems like a town that has missed some opportunities for bigger corporate companies to come in and this is a great location and a great spot,” said James.
Opening on October 16th, Boom Battle Bar is the latest addition to Regent Circus and will be hoping to revitalise the area following the closure of several businesses in the area over the past 18 months.
Boom Battle Bar are currently attempting to connect with local street food vendors in Swindon as well, so if you’re a vendor then email [email protected] to find out how your business can get involved in this project.
