Wild Place Project is a fun family attraction that provides outdoor adventure, play and learning. Meet amazing animals from across the world, from the mischievous lemurs of Madagascar to magnificent European brown bears. Get outdoors and discover wildlife from the UK and around the world including bears, giraffes, cheetahs, lemurs and more.
Go wild and explore 50 beautiful acres including woodlands, gardens and the tranquil Tower Meadow. Hot and cold drinks, sandwiches and tasty snacks are available from our food outlets.
Across Wild Place Project you'll discover lots of outdoor Play Wild areas including Congo Bongo, a Giant Bird's Nest and woodland play area in Bear Wood. There's also Barefoot Trail – very popular with our younger visitors. Throw off your shoes and feel different textures beneath your feet.
